Ryan

This is a portrait of one of the kids in my drawing class... we're doing portraits for a few more weeks. The linework is all done with conte crayon, but I went over it with a brush in photoshop, just to differentiate Ryan from the background.

I found an album that I haven't listened to in at least a year. I decided to draw while listening to it.

Lilah is so Generous!

She wanted me to put her tiny clog on my own foot. My big toe fit snugly in there.

Cara suggests weird things.

She told me to draw "surgical things." This is what I came up with. It's not finished, but I'm going to bed soon.

There were heating and cooling guys here, today, to replace our furnace, so Duke was tied to a pole out back. Needless to say, he didn't like it too much.

Toledo Zoo!

Here are the best of the pictures that I took today. While the Toledo Zoo is far... FAR better than Detroit's zoo, it is pretty awful if you plan on doing some photography. Every single exhibit is surrounded by either tight fencing (segmenting or adding distracting lines to your photos) or extremely reflective glass (leading to glares no matter what angle at which you stand, making clear, sharp pictures nearly impossible.) So, that would explain the sparse collection here. I'll be going back to the Detroit Zoo once we get some green leaves.

More bad news!

I've got a quiz, a test, and a midterm this week... so drawings might be rare. Oh, and my best friend is in town for the week... so drawings might be really rare this week. HOWEVER! I'm on spring break next week, so I will have plenty of time to draw, then.

My pictures of Lilah were all overexposed beyond repair... But I managed to fix this one up.
