I haven't posted in over a week! I really suck!

But on the bright side, I've updated my site. I also tweaked the galleries a bit.

I'll draw a bunch tomorrow, hopefully.

Sorry I've been slacking on the updates over the weekend. I've just been in a bit of a funk. I hope to get some pictures of my Drawing 2 pen and ink drawings on Thursday, so I'll definitely post those when I've got them.

Update on Clint

Fixed the eyes, and touched up some of the shadows and highlights. Then I added a background to make it a little less boring. Improvement?

I spent about an hour and a half on this. Eddie told me to draw Clint, so I figured I'd do a quick 20 minute sketch before he went to bed. Well, it ended up being a bit more polished than I originally planned. Here it is!

Drapery Study

We only had one spotlight in class, yesterday, so both drawing 1 and drawing 2 had to work on the same drapery. Well, the teacher didn't throw the spotlight on it until we had an hour left in class, and she kept making us stop to watch her draw it. Because of that, I only had about a half hour to hash this out. It came out better than any drapery I did in charcoal, I think... but, had I had more time to work on it, I could've done a much better job.

Duke is way too fidgety to get a good picture. I took over 100, today.

Just increasing the range of value on this sketch. I still may go in and paint over it... I'm really diggin' this drawing.

I'm really happy with how this turned out... but it still doesn't feel finished. Maybe I'll put it on grey, so I can add highlights. Maybe I'll paint over it. I'm not too sure. Either way, I hope you like it!
